India’s #77thIndependenceDay was celebrated with a grand reception hosted by Ambassador Pooja Kapur and Mr. Ashwani Aggarwal, at India House in Copenhagen. Speaker of the Danish Parliament, H.E. Soren Gade graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

Ambassador Pooja Kapur delivered inspiring remarks to the guests which included State Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lotte Machon, several Permanent Secretaries of key ministries, MPs, Mayors, Ambassadors, business leaders, cultural & media personalities, as well as members of the Indian community.
An orchestral fusion of Danish jazz and Indian ragas and recitals of traditional & contemporary songs & dances, followed by a tasting of delectable flavours & delicacies from various parts of India, concluded the event. #IndependenceDay2023 #NewIndia #MeriMaatiMeraDesh #HarGharTiranga
