As a part of celebrations of India@75, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Embassy of India, Copenhagen organized a Youth Cricket Workshop  on 30th July 2021  at Soranerne - Gentofte Sportspark in association with Soranerne Cricket Club, one of the oldest cricket clubs in Denmark & Danish Indian volunteer Association (DIVA). 40 Indian and Danish children attended the workshop. 5 coaches from various Cricket Clubs conducted the workshop for kids and helped kids polish their skills and techniques. Ambassador Pooja Kapur highlighted the progress of India in the field of sports in last 75 years and encouraged the young participants by handing over certificates of appreciation. The workshop was rounded off by healthy refreshments for the participants and a vote of thanks by Mrs. Pushpa Kumar, Second Secretary (Cons, Com and Culture).
